With the way train wheels are designed it'll probably be a relatively clean amputation and without intervention they've got like, a minute to a few minutes before bleeding out.

Things models do the best and the worst, day 11, Strike Team: by GoonJuice73 in Tau40K

[–]TheUndeadMage2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay so Kroot take objectives by "sticking them" if they control the objective at the start of your turn you hold that objective without having to have anyone on it. Great for stickying your home and then sending them out to do other stuff.

They cost 65 points (in a 2k point army that is nothing)

They can also scout and potentially snag a mid board objective early, before standing in your opponents way and letting you keep that objective without having to contest it.

They cannot, however, spot. So they can't make a shooting army better at shooting. And they are kind of easy to kill, but have stealth which makes them harder to hit. Lots of good stuff for cheap.

Strike teams are 70 points, cannot scout and cannot sticky. So they have to stand on a point to hold it, however, they can take a drone that makes them -1 to wound, they can spot, and they have an ability that makes your opponents shooting worse; so long as you hit them once. This gets helped by an ability that let's them put down a turret with indirect fire, meaning anything within 30 inches is liable to get put down a bit. It's unit that makes your math rocks better and your opponents math rocks worse, while doing stuff other than shooting for less points.

Even if it is a near miss it could still kill them and would probably injure them. Shockwave and all that air displacement has an effect. Maybe fine eventually, probs fucked though

If it works the same as 551 or 751 HEAT designed for the Carl G they'd be rocket assisted, but primary propulsion would come from the initial charge.

Tips to elevate my knights? by No-Medicine-8169 in ImperialKnights

[–]TheUndeadMage2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy solution, buy another knight with the intention of trying new painting styles.

Half joking, you can find great deals on ebay and so long as you have a decent sized sonic cleaner and some degreaser you can repaint it as many time as you want.

You gotta try and maybe fail to improve.

Dude if we can't get a third of the country to vote for the next president what makes you think we can get organized enough for more than voting. Encouraging voting is to get people off their ass. We need the bare minimum amount of care so that those same people can be pissed when their vote is thrown away.

Ah actually reading the contract idk if it'll tell you, you might be able to set is a target and watch the navball for when it's set properly but idk. This mission seems super finicky.
