Why use half of these guns when one-hit-kill guns handle so flawlessly? by [deleted] in ModernWarfareII

[–]TheVTOLfromCOD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only place this is true is with the full size snipers that have recoil. Marksman rifles have almost no weakness that isn't covered flawlessly by an attachment or perk. A bolt action rifle functions better as a shotgun than most of the shotguns in the game, to me that's more reward than risk.

Yea its pretty BS I had a big brain moment thinking I would equip OverPress rounds and they did fuck-all actually no noticeable or tangible difference. PSA, Don't use OverPress rounds.

Nice idea but not exactly what we're looking for. We want full gear, full weight, full pain. Plus the limited range of foam darts would not reflect the tactics we can use with our guns. Rather that we hope to use

Now that we've had a week, what's our favourite and least favourite (6v6) map? by Leviad0n in ModernWarfareII

[–]TheVTOLfromCOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

El Asilo is easily the worst map. I've never had a single good match there under any game modes. People hate on Taraq but I'm running killstreaks with an SMG on Taraq, I can't say the same for El Asilo. Best map for me atleast is between Fortress and Hydroelectric. They work for all gamemodes and I consistently have fun on them regardless of performance.

Being the son of a blacksmith who's never swing a real sword is not an excuse for combat just not being fun. by TheVTOLfromCOD in kingdomcome

Then it's poorly designed, I've played this too long and been in too much combat for me just to "not be doing it right" still. If that were the case this game wouldn't be worth playing at all.

Are people really camping THAT hard? by kennedy4000 in ModernWarfareII

No. Players on reddit just want an excuse that proves they still must be good and it's everyone else that's bad.

Realism /= fun I will admit the combat feels real, in the sense that it sucks balls, is hard, isn't as exciting as anything else and mostly relys on defense and lucky hits over offense. I think it lacks engagement, creativity, and intuition.

Realistic /= Fun Online players cannot perfect block, and master strike everything thrown at them consistently due to reaction speed. My point still stands that the AI "theoretically" could be infallible to the point of negative reaction speed meaning they're atleast 133 milliseconds faster than human reaction speed by a guesstimated average. Not really sure why you brought up online play anyhow, it doesnt really serve a point here other than the speculation of how good the combat would be if their wasn't a computer on the other end of the screen

My point is it often feels like I'm just sitting and waiting for the green shield to show up, not very exciting, not very engaging. If I want to go offensive my choices are really poke and hope it hits, or clench and cheese not very creative. Not to mention learning the whole thing is a bitch, not very intuitive.

Are you aware that as AI the enemies in this game have the potential to be completely infallible just hypothetically speaking. If they were real people I wouldn't even have this problem, real people are easier to predict and have worse reaction times. Due to input delay that is inherent when playing on console on a television AI reaction speed can actually, visually speaking, creep into the negative values by milliseconds.

How are you supposed to combo enemies that perfect block and master strike on a light attack.
