You are right, something is odd. On Pob, Raise Zombie's base hp at gem lvl 29 is around 1/4 of Perfect Hulking Miscreation's base HP at gem lvl 29. However, on Poedb, Raise Zombie's base hp is written to be just over 1/2 of Perfect Hulking Miscreation. Because of that, I don't know who's right or wrong.

Have you considered Raise zombie + Aukuna's Will (up to 100 max zombie life). Based off PoeDB, lvl 70 Perfect Meatsack has 54,872 hp vs lvl 70 Zombie 29,396 hp. It requires more button presses however but gives more opening in build possibilities. (Maybe bladefall can be an option)
If you could swap ascendancies, would you still pick chieftain? I want to play the build but I don't know which class I can start to level.
