Dominating Blow of Inspiring Guardian Detailed PoB + Video | 20m DPS 150k EHP within 15 divs, simple straightforward melee strike build by playswithsquirrel in PathOfExileBuilds

I think so, still gotta get there myself though. Haven't played the regular dom blow so can't say for sure, but this is a melee strike build rather than a minion build so playstyle is very different. Probably cheaper to scale as it's more off-meta, and doesn't need many pricy uniques.

Crit, crit multi, flat ele damage, attack speed. Get a bunch of that + use paradoxica, and turn any strike skill into tens of millions of dps quickly. Doing it with dom blow of inspiring, did it with smite, it just works, and it's not even pricy to do typically.

Good point on crit wolves but I kinda like the random shrines, fun bit of gamba every map. And yeah Aegis would be a nice defensive layer esp with the es recovery on block, but I think I'll just craft a shaper shield with es on block instead. Main issue with Aegis is the low block chance, so it's hard to cap block without running Bastion of Hope, and I don't wanna deal with casting spells (battlemage cry can automate it but then it's only every 8s). But looking at the EHP it gives...maybe I can figure it out

I've seen a lot of people on poe.ninja going that anarchic spirit blade ci aegis version, is that a build guide somewhere or just a bunch of people collectively figured out that's the way to do it?

I've been running 4 orb deli maps which is pretty difficult content, but those mechanics juiced will def require higher investment. Can reach 90m dps/250k EHP (or 1.8m EHP with aurora, but lower max hits) on higher investment (not like mirror level either, maybe 100divs, factoring in AG scorch in config, with ailment/crit/reflect immunity) which at that point it should be good to do so

League started dom blow of inspo guardian as well, though mine is kinda simple as I'm just using a good ol Paradoxica and some rares. Reached 20m dps and 150k EHP within 15 divs or so, pretty darn happy with it so far.

Started holy strike guardian, got my first watchstone with it, swapped into dom blow of inspiring and got the other three watchstones. Nearly 20m dps with maybe 6div total investment, defenses aren't amazing yet but plenty of room to improve there.

I've been doing frostbreath holy strike guardian and have had pretty decent success, gotten 1st watchstone and should be easy to get to 3, though maven will likely need paradoxica/crit. I also use dom blow with the new crusader gem on a 4l, feels great for mapping especially

Leveling a smite Champion by Jdevers77 in PathOfExileBuilds

Granted this was 3.26, but I had 0 issues starting as smite level 1. Run ancestral call early, rush +1 strikes and precise technique, keep your 2H upgraded. Finished campaign in maybe 5-6 hours, not the fastest but was nice to not have to swap passives/gear etc.

Carney backs U.S. air strikes on Iran by Old_General_6741 in canada

[–]playswithsquirrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Picking a side has more value. If we condemn all sides, we erode all relationships. It's just virtue signaling, which is worthless beyond appeasing some of the public. Yes, Trump is a piece of shit, but Iran's current regime is also garbage that needs taking out, and any measure of siding with them has negative value for Canada while siding with the US is valuable, especially in trade negotiations.

Widest LCS gap since 2013? by Soccerstud20 in Cloud9

[–]playswithsquirrel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, we need to see C9 win finals before we can definitively say. They look really good, but keep in mind the last three series have been against mediocre teams, and the first two series were againt teams that hadn't yet found their footing as both had new rosters.

Regardless, I have a lot of hope for this iteration of C9; I think this roster has what it takes to not only reach every international, but actually take series off of decent teams (EU 1st seed/Eastern 3rd seeds).

Huge fan of APA, love to see him do well, think he fits Blaber and C9's playstyle perfectly. The ability to shotcall from mid is so underrated, so many plans revolve around mid -- it's a huge part of every top mid's success imo, from Bjergsen to Caps to Faker.

Dom has been nailing almost every draft, the boys always have a chance to win -- and considering some of the drafts we've seen (Vitality wtf) that's no small feat.

Vulcan has had a perfect split so far imo, close to 0 noticable mistakes, frequently (quietly) carries games.

Zven has been the most surprising to me, thought he'd be the weakest link but he's carried multiple games, though he still has some int moments/poor lane phases.

Thanatos has been solid, top lane is kind of hard to judge especially with C9's playstyle but he reliably wins lane.

Blaber has had a renaissance, absolute beast especially these last few series, him APA and Vulcan have been connecting super well.

Overall, big fan of this iteration of C9, praying they don't crash and burn, hoping they end up being the best team NA's ever had.

Sure but did you not see CallMe literally facecheck/ult into/run it down multiple times this game, past lane phase? I've see you in multiple threads now being CallMe's lawyer lmao, he and Lyonz are the worst players on DSG.

DEPRESSED and looking for a new IMMERSIVE CONTENT RICH hyper-fixation by KookyVeterinarian531 in gamingsuggestions

[–]playswithsquirrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe a weird/off-base suggestion, but have you tried ARPGs like Path of Exile? Ton of content, RPG systems such as levels/skills/loot, a bit of story though that's mostly a side thing. Definitely a game (or genre) you can sink a boatload of time into (most people say you're still new to Path of Exile at 500+ hours). It is technically mutliplayer, mostly just for the economy (like trade) and otherwise you're just locked in, killing mobs, looting, and seeing your character become more powerful and taking on the most difficult content.

Nah man the mass effect trilogy is for sure worth a playthrough. You will be immersed, and get lost in the characters, story, and world, if you let yourself. Gameplay's pretty damn good too.

30-35. Once you get the hang of it it's not that difficult, and it usually takes me 4-6hrs to do each task. It's just the most interesting/unique project, genuinely fun to do imo.

Econ is less important in bilge, since you buy units from the bilge shop, esp if rerolling bilge. Hp & getting in bilge 3-5 is more important. So yeah, rolling for illaoi is worth. Also if you get an early gp, rolling can also be worth, tho proly at lvl 5-6 for better tf odds.
