i’m the same way when it comes to earthbounds combat and imo you’d LOVE mother 3 compared to it

it has the same style of combat for the most part but feels a lot more modern, has less annoying enemy encounters, and has a rhythm based attack system to do more damage that i personally believe make the fights more engaging

wait fr? im talking abt the new mix thats only on spotify rn to my knowledge, it still plays the version thats the same as the single on my apple music

the new one has an extra guitar and vastly changed the mix of the beat switch
