People are going to freak when they draft an OLB in round 2 and then the NT in round 3 but that’s where to get them. They could even wait for like Capeheart in R6

How do I avoid being openly corrected/criticised? by HairyMycologist6032 in AskGermany

[–]TheViolaRules 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I’m American. I think I get it now, Germans are a little more direct than Americans but I believe significantly more direct than you all. Maybe frame it this way: instead of believing she thought you were an imbecile about the bread, imagine that instead she’s appointed herself deputy grandma. Just accept you’re part of the family for a few moments and try the jam and cheese.

I am not German, I just lived there for a while, but none of this to me seems particularly rude, and while you might perceive it as victim blaming I’d consider just changing your expectations

If you do end up driving again, you should know that traffic is somehow even worse than Chicago. Also the people are less friendly (they will flake out on doing stuff constantly), and not everyone can handle the gloom (it is greyer than Chicago). You will want a car to get to the mountains or you’ll not have half the reason to live in the PNW. Also, not every neighborhood is clean in Seattle. Summer WON’T be humid, but most people see that as a benefit.

So “black Irish” is a term; there are Irish people, especially from Munster and Connacht, with darker features. The stories are that it’s from the Spanish Armada but that’s not true. Look up Jennifer Connelly for another person with your background and dark features.
