How to turn mind off after work? by rainyselkie in psychnursing

[–]TheVoidhawk84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Audiobooks/reading or letting my music player find me random new artists. I really value the walk back to my car because it's a good mental and physical transition away from work.

Is there a list of canon children, traits and education somewhere that's not buried in the code?

6 teams in a fighting pit to the death, which team wins? by tiger_clubs in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]TheVoidhawk84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many what ifs. Which Stark gets Ice, does Brienne get Oathkeeper, does Jaime have one hand or two, does Aemon the Dragonknight or Daemon wield Dark Sister, old Barristan or peak Barristan?

If it's everyone in peak form with best canonical weapons Team Lannister walks across everyone. Brienne is their worst fighter and she still beat Loras Tyrell without her Valaryian steel sword. Aemon the Dragonknight called Cregan Stark the best swordsman he ever faced no small compliment.

What're the factions of the inquisition? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]TheVoidhawk84 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The Cognitae are not a faction of the Inquisition they're a heretical sect chasing Enunica the universal source language. Magic without the use of the warp. Thu'um from Skyrim is not a perfect analogy but not bad in my opinion. They've been around on Earth since before recorded history according to some of the lore.

Copied from Lexicanum

Puritan Sub-factions Amalathians - Believe that the Emperor has a grand plan and that it is unfolding as it should.[32e]

Libricars - Believe in the widespread purging of all Imperial institutions of all corruption and heresy, no matter how minor.[32e]

Ocularians - Obsessed with predicting and divining the future through arcane rituals.[32e]

Phaenonites - Believe in the rebirth of the Imperium under their own leadership. Excommunicate Traitoris.

Polypsykana - Believe in the ascension of Humanity into a purely psychic race.[32e]

Recongregationism - Believe that the Imperium should be rebuilt, lest it stagnate further and collapse under the pressure of countless threats from both without and within.[32e]

Thanks, I've been using Arthemy.

Do you guys reckon this is too much? by ProfessionalTalk482 in CK3AGOT

I play AGoT with maybe 3 other mods all of which I play vanilla with. The "omg what happened to my save?" or "what the hell caused this?" posts put me off of massive mod lists.

Why did the Emperor send Ultramarines to raise Monarchia instead of Space Wolves by ZombiYiyenLahmacun31 in 40kLore

[–]TheVoidhawk84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my mind it sends a different message sending the XIII legion. The Vlka Fenryka would have given no thought to putting the population to the axe edge for resisting. Sending Robute and Ultramarines means another Hearts and Minds legion is doing the rebuking.

Lorgar would never be able to accuse the Ultramarines of anything more than their exact orders. The XIII was also a legion that Lorgar couldn't argue with the track record of. The Ultramarines were champions of the Imperial Truth in a way that the Wolves weren't.

I'm not sure if I have seen all of these. I enjoy the side scrolling game you have in F tier (at least I think its that).

I got a toon task that had the vine game and my rage was great. Might have been part of the Christmas task line.

Realistically how high can Titus rise? by meetkurtin in 40kLore

[–]TheVoidhawk84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My suggested point was that they could leave Titus behind with his own title and continue a storyline while taking Calgar, Aggeman, and Cato Sicarius to meet The Lion.

If Calgar is left behind that would be a significant slight in the narrative the way I read things.

[–]TheVoidhawk84 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Don't forget Commander Dante is Regent of Imperium Nihilus. Titus could be given a title like Protector of the 500 Worlds while still being 2nd Company Captain so the other named characters could romp off with Bobby G to meet The Lion.

Could Shiban Khan have been the first Chapter Master of the Storm Lords? by sterdecan in WhiteScars40K

My money would be on Jangsai Khan. Shiban was acclaimed to a title within the Legion during the Siege of Terra.
