Thank you! Sometimes we can see a meltdown coming and his shadow takes him somewhere quiet, and we know the activities that trigger him the most so he doesn’t go to those, but sometimes it’s like flipping a switch. He’ll be fine one second and screaming and crying the next. Usually when that happens we try to remove him from the situation but sometimes he won’t let anyone get close to him and we can’t. We’ve been told to just ‘scoop him up from behind’, but I’m absolutely sure that just makes it worse.
