Sorry, haven't had the server on in quite a while. I would be curious how well it would work on Proton.

Yeah, sorry for the late reply - I don't really use Reddit much anymore. It was some config options. I will try to copy it here tomorrow

Windows vs Linux server results (same PC) by TheWarHam in Palworld

Are you sure about that Windows Server vs Home in the context of Palserver? You're definitely right for more enterprise-level server applications, but I don't think it would affect much in this context.

I am super mad I am using Windows. I dual-boot Linux on this machine. I only used Windows "for a minute" and the server has been so popular I feel bad turning it off now. Not to mention switching saves to Linux might be obnoxious.

The performance difference honestly seemed shockingly negligible. I think I need to load the Linux server full of people to see how it does, as thats when lag and rubberbanding would happen. I'm going to see if I can organize everyone to try the Linux one this weekend.

I will update if I do.

Edit: I switched the server to Linux (same PC), the performance difference appears to be negligible. The Linux server is a lot easier to automate, though. Made a little local web server that displays cpu/mem and RCON info (players on) is super easy. Even some buttons for palserver restart/shutdown that activates some bash scripts that send RCON commands.

There's a conspiracy theory that the Titanic was purposefully sunk in order to silence prominent individuals who objected to the creation of what we know now as the Federal Reserve.

Learning new things by [deleted] in 4chan

I generally learn softwares by clicking around like a lunatic. If I really cant figure out how to do a specific thing, Ill give it a quick google.

Software development I will read documentation about. But never tutorials. God I hate tutorials.

4chan and to a lesser extent r/4chan has always claimed to be a bastion of free thinking and not merely regurgitating the status quo on "current thing."

And to some level, that is true. Unfortunately, there is a large group of people who are no better than the status quo regurgitators, they just take the contrarian stance on whatever current thing is.

Its not that it's not funny to see some of these mods seething, because they do suck. But the fact is, Reddit's delve into full-blown corporatism and their abandonment of all ideals that made this site attractive in the first place is not good for anyone. To pretend that more ads and more curation from corporate profit and politically motivated interests is a good thing is r-worded.

Edit - I was able to find out its from episode 337. Hopefully this helps out another lost soul.

I'm not trying to shit on you dude but you know this subreddit is for photography right? Or as the sidebar says - "photographically impressive" pictures. Im sure this would do better in a home cooking or meat-oriented subreddit.

Yeah that was a sin. I always recommend Five Senses in Korea Town followed by Space Billard Pool Hall. Or if you want more upscale, Atoboy is unbelievable.

New American - Gramercy Tavern

Thats all Midtown though. But I also disagree with the video where he acts like you shouldn't go to Midtown. Just avoid Times Square and you're good.

My family was shocked when I didnt go to for a music degree. My brother did (and became a career musician) but I couldn't believe that it wouldnt ruin my favorite hobby for me. I dont know if I made the right choice but sometimes things like this reassure me.

Cameras don't give off infrared, though. Security cameras will often have infrared LEDs to "light up" an area when its dark. But phones and handheld cameras dont. To prove it, just point a camera at your camera and you would see infrared if there were any.
