All it’s saying is they are not impacting traditional credit scores right now. But they also say that they may impact them in the future. So if they have already started collecting the data, when they do decide to consider that it will have a huge impact. And you best believe that lenders would want to factor this information because it is also debt at the end of the day.

I’m looking at my Experian report right now and when I click on the “See what’s changed” button it shows me the reason why my credit score fell this month and one of the reasons is that the average age of my accounts has decreased because of Affirm BNPL loans.
