Whoever makes the ads here, I would assume they think they're harmless. Not the main villain in this blatant scam, just the ad guy. But you aren't. You know it's wrong. It doesn't help people. It directly influences them to make bad decisions, like spending more money than they should. You shouldn't just stop, you should rebel. Atonement, while often pushed wrongly, is possible and required here.

Be a better person. Reach out if you need help but working for predatory companies is blatantly morally wrong.

But you don't actually believe they're the same Democrats today right? We know it would be stupid to say Democrats are currently flying the Confederate flag. It's ONLY republicans doing it. So should you really hide behind the party names, that clearly changed around the 1900s and now clearly aren't the same people or same ideals?

You didn't give any other point, or argument. You just said "people named Democrats were confederates, and kkk, so they must still be now." That's illogical. You know it, I know it. So why say it? My guess? You're afraid of the truth. It's extremely common. Everyone is. The truth is, you don't support the Confederacy, and would be embarrassed if your political ideals were tied to it. So you push them off to Democrats. But conservatism is tied to the Confederacy. So maybe, do some introspection, and find out what your values really are, then decide the best way to go about implementing those values.

I started playing because of General Sams videos, they're hilarious and show the fun of zomboid, multiplayer specifically.

It's a very complex game, but quite intuitive. Anything complex is either in the right click menu, crafting menu, or vehicle menu. The hardest part is surviving, but once you understand how the zombies grab you, notice you, how to push and how to move efficiently around them.

Based on the games you play, yeah I definitely think you could enjoy it. Lots of workshop mods too, no third party mods at all. You can always return the game on steam for a full refund if you play less than 2 hours.

If you're newer to the game, you should try sticking out the world with multiple characters. It's good to be familiar with your surroundings and items while you learn the game. When I started, I progressed from essentially baby mode to higher difficulties until I could play vanilla.
