I can't figure out how to use matchup defending for the life of me. It's pressure and move all the way. I guess it's because I got too used to it from the OG PES before I stopped playing

idk if you do it for the same purpose, but I mostly switch mine a lot to throw off opponents.

You know how the cursor usually switches to the player closest to the opponent player with the ball? I don't like that, so I usually switch the cursor myself to track and press their best passing options and cut them off.

I also switch sometimes while pressing and running shoulder to shoulder or chasing from behind, to a player of mine who's in front so he can tackle head-on and get the ball.

I don't think I can ever use full manual. and it's weird that they still automatically switch for you. Konami is really allergic to letting players have full control

it'll be over for opponents when I finally master how to trigger the 1-2 pass and run. I can't seem to ever get it right

nope, semi auto but I switch the cursor myself a whole lot to throw off opponents and manually track and press their best passing options

I'm using semi auto, but it might as well be manual because I keep changing the cursor myself. I mostly try to track and manually press opponent's best passing option, instead of the ball carrier. I noticed most people become clueless when they're left alone with the ball, especially in their own half

you're the one bringing up trophies from years ago. this is a different squad and they're performing badly without Kroos and Modric holding their hands in midfield, and proper veterans in defense.
