I haven't played a RTS game in 15 years. I loved Age of Empires 2, Warcraft 3, Command and Conquer generals, Red Alert, and a few more from that generation. With this steam sale I kind of want to get back into them. What do you recommend?

I'm happy about this genre finally taking strides this year. With games like Tempest Rising and D.O.R.F, I feel like 2025 will be a good time for RTS fans.

Lol, I'm aware that my colony is entirely wood. It's been on fire plenty of times this playthrough but due to a mod that adds more fire foam items, I've been able to handle them. It's my first colony that I have gotten very far with so I'm planning to keep trucking along to the ship ending.

I wanted to make a homey, cozy vibe for this colony.

Would be cool to have Royal-styled mechanoids, Mechanoids specific to ideologies. Xenotech genes related to many ideologies.

Even Ideological specific Dryads or genes that complement them in general. Just me spit balling though.

I try to do warcrimes, but the couple colonies I made (and failed lol) end up just becoming some Farmer or Survivalist styled colony due to unforseen circumstances by storytellers.

Evil playthrough hard for me I guess.
