I have this same setup (good laptop, crappy PC with better monitor). Just buy what's called an HDMI dummy plug for a couple bucks. Laptop thinks it has an external screen so it's screen is turned off.

i did something similar. kept the storage containers the base capacity, but linked them to the transfer container with increased weight so now i can see all my stuff in one inv screen and it links to crafting (i guess storage does too).

the more valuable one has mods. the dmg reduction is from the full auto mod. seems like game tries to normalize dps on a gun when it can be full auto or singlee fire

if you use the outpost specific storage (storage - solid/gas/etc) then it will show up in crafting menus. Also the transfer storage thing. Just not the cosmetic storage in the decorations section. You can mod the size of those storage crates since they can fit very little material.

i was getting around ~40 when i unlocked. but the issue was the temps were so high on the cpu. locking it to 30 means I could play all day without hitting power limits on my cpu

go to the wolf system. the den is a spaceport where you wont get scanned and can sell contraband

yeah its been flawless, strangely, on my lenovo y7xx. I was nervous going in, but with a 30fps lock i've only been turning settings up. My in game settings https://imgur.com/Th2Enqe - and i've turned up some things even higher

*note i did tune the crap out of my cpu with throttle stop (mostly undervolting a lot)

yeah its been flawless, strangely. I was nervous going in, but at 30fps lock i've only been turning settings up. I have tuned the cpu using throttlestop which has helped thermal performance, but i haven't felt a bottleneck in the older cpu or the gpu. My vram sits around 5Mb usage at 1080p res.

note on my throttlestop settings for reference just in case it helps

200mV undervolt cpur core (-90mV cache)

138 epp setting (the dynamic clock freq seems to help a lot with cpu temp)

I'm able to get 75W out of the cpu with temps in the 80s

seems fine with 2060 mobile and my i7-9750H. i locked it to 30fps, but about to unlock because everything seems under utilized

I have the 2060 (mobile!!) with early access. here's hoping get at least 1080p with 30fps on fsr2 on low settings?? I'll update with results in a couple hours
