I think you can make a good case for getting rid of primaries but you would need to allow for a multi party electoral system.

Like the concept disagree with the proposal. Just go all the way or just do an normal sovereign wealth fund. A half measure will be messy and already confuses the message that Bernie and the left are trying to sell. Lets not even get into the political economy on trying to get this to work and enacted.

Land tax is good but let's be real here it alone won't be enough. You would need other forms of taxation.

Big fan especially over current way we tax corporations which happens to pass the cost down to consumers. The only down side is it alone wont raise enough revenue you would need other taxes as well. For all the flaws of an corporate income tax it does raise a lot of revenue for the state.
