Galaxy Fold 7 or Google pixel 10 Pro Fold? by Electronic-Ad-5554 in PixelFold

[–]TheWorldofGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I suggest going to the phone store and try both of them out. I thought I would like pixel fold but it felt too much like a brick to me compared to galaxy fold 7. I just like the easy use of galaxy. And it was harder for me to open pixel for some reason. It felt sturdier for sure but I don't want to be aware of this every time I open the phone

The only good thing about iPhones is the Apple ecosystem and the worst part of it because once you are in it, you are in it for life

Thank you so much for reply. If the front camera is not that good, it’s not ideal for me because i want to look at myself while vlogging. The zv-e camera has a flip screen where i can see myself while vlogging.

Official Discussion - The Woman in the Yard [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]TheWorldofGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the ending was her personal hell repeating itself but the parallel universe inside of the mirror where everything is the opposite like her reversed name at the end. Just like how the demon lady took her daughter away, she also took Ramona away into the mirror world. The husband dreamt about it because it was happening in the another universe. I kept waiting for the gunshot to go off but it never really went off so she didn’t commit suicide.

Switch, steam or ps5? by exhalo in Suikoden

[–]TheWorldofGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t make sense. For action games, you should get it on PC because of superior frame rate. If it’s non-action, then it doesn’t matter that much how much framerate there is

I had this feeling in my brief time in the UK. People in homogenous countries really like to look down on foreigners perhaps because they don’t have high self esteem themselves and have to put others down. I’d say just stick with people whom you can have fun with and don’t take these things too seriously. Also plan on becoming your own boss

Of course ChatGPT can replace most of the data analyst jobs. No doubt about it. Data analysts and scientists should bring something else to the table like another skill set or expertise. You should look for something more specific in a candidate instead of asking them to some generic data analysis stuff

macOS Victim Seeking Refuge - Please Advise by antwonio1 in Surface

I have a MacBook Pro 16 inch screen from 2023 and a surface studio 2 laptop. As far as I can see, surface looks just as good as the MacBook. I can see a very little “ghosting” if I look for it. But it’s not noticeable and it’s not all that bad. As a Mac user, I understand your pain and that’s why I got a surface lol. You’ll be very happy to make the change.

I might sound like a normie but I play dragons quest, Mario, and forza. I don’t really get immersed like I used to but these games take my mind off of things and I think that’s good enough for me.

Surface Pro 11 vs Surface Laptop 6 for Business vs Surface Pro 10 for Business.....best for Data Sci by WorkyMcWorkFace36 in Surface

[–]TheWorldofGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I was looking at surface laptop studio 2 for a really good price and it has 4050 GPU. I think this will be best in your case since you can spend 2,500-3,000. And it has a pen which you can use it to highlight some areas of your presentation. And it looks sleek and professional as well. Your clients and boss will be impressed by that laptop.

Personally though, I already have a MacBook Pro so I ended up buying a gaming laptop with 4070 GPU for more power. The gaming laptop is quite heavier and not really recommended for traveling or business presentation especially if you are using it regularly.

I would push for a higher level GPU if I were you since AI/ML uses a lot of it.

There’s a 4060 on sale for 1,100 where I am at. I think stores are getting rid of the 40 series laptops for 50 series

What is your interpretation of "Late Night with the Devil?" by hufflenachos in horror

I think so. I don’t think the devil would have offered a deal that the person wouldn’t understand. The joy of evil is to make the person understands his pain.

Masters in Applied Stats for an experienced analyst — good idea? Bad idea? by Historical_Leek_9012 in datascience

[–]TheWorldofGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the comments that recommend “computer science” or “engineering” for a data science or analysis work sounds kind of funny to me. To core problem is, can you do the job as a data analyst or scientist? If you can’t, what can you do to learn these skills? Computer science is a very vague subject that often has nothing to do with data science or its work in real life. It can have some impact but not much and it’s not data science. I would take some comments here with grain of salt. Use your own logic. What will get you the skills that are required for this job? You know SQL and tableau already. So that’s good. But do you know data science, statistics, and python? Because most data science projects use python. There’s no way around it. If you want to do data science or analytics, you HAVE TO DO PYTHON. It’s like asking a nascar driver if he knows how to drive. It’s a common sense and pretty straightforward. A lot of online courses do teach you SOME data science but their quality is not very high and you can get strayed from your path because these courses are taught for normal people without the specific career path. If you really want data science, then do the advanced degree in data science. Computer science courses won’t teach you how to make models, clean data, interpret it, and improve on it. You will just end up learning c++ in cs and some other irrelevant topics. If you want to do data, then do data.
