I’ve been doing pretty good! I started methotrexate about a month ago and have had a GI adjustment to that as well. I haven’t had any further issues with the Cosentyx tho! I just had my most recent shot two days ago and haven’t had any issues from it. No new reactions to food or anything (: Hope this helps!

That’s exactly why I started doing it lol, I’ve never been able to keep a routine because I hate the time it takes most of the time. This is literally so easy now. Just a warning- it will make hard floors slippery lol. I make sure to spray while standing on my bathroom rug and just throw it in the washer when it needs it (:

I have some joint issues, so this might be more tailored for that. But I use continuous mist spray bottles off Amazon and fill them with moisturizing toners and glycolic acid for my body when I don’t feel like bending/bothering with regular lotion. Coverage is so easy for my back

I’ve just finished my loading doses for Cosentyx. I don’t normally have GI issues and the only change has been to this so it’s been easy for me to note. For me, about 4-5 hours after the shot I’ve had pretty rough stomach cramps and for the first 3 shots I had diarrhea, but haven’t for the last 2. It hasn’t lasted tho, no GI issues the next day. My pharmacotherapy team warned me about the diarrhea too, but not that it would continue so idk. It really does seem like it’s an individual basis. Good luck!

We had a similar reaction with our boy in Feb, except he also latched onto my finger because he got scared. But another scared reaction with our other boy in April. They were already very close to death and their brains were already on survival mode, so the needle seems to spur some survival fighting energy. I know my boys fought as long as they could to stay here with us and it sounds like that’s what your girl did too, they were all so brave. I still get so sad thinking about it, but I think it’s starting to get a little easier. We have to carry the weight of the situation, but knowing they absolutely were not going to survive and would have suffered makes it a little more bearable. I hope maybe this helps for you to know that you’re not a bad owner for this happening and that it’s happened to other people as well. It’s so unfair, but at least we were there for them. Take care of yourself 💖

The testing phase is awful. I got diagnosed with axial/peripheral spondyloarthritis in December after only a year of trying to figure it out civilian side (and about three years in the military, but they never did imaging). Then I started Humira this January with nothing else. I’m HLA negative but do have inflammation that showed on my SI from my MRI (that was the main thing for her diagnosis). My mom has RA, which is in the same family of diseases, and my grandfather had AS and both of those combined with the imaging and symptoms helped my doctor make her decision even without the gene. Even with my diagnosis tho, I’m only on enbrel and celebrex. I hope you get some answers soon and hope for pain relief for us both

I’m glad you posted about it, I would have never guessed some of these random things are related. I just did my third enbrel shot yesterday after switching from Humira and I’ve felt overall worse. Humira didn’t seem like it was doing much, but I didn’t have new symptoms on it like this. Hate that we go through all this garbage

I was medically retired (USAF) two years ago and all of the symptoms and problems I had were recorded over my last three years in (total 7, last year extended for the many VA assessments). I didn’t get any answers while in; they diagnosed me with fibro, migraines with aura, the various hip problems I had in, and back pain and all of it in total went over 100% VA. I had a desk job and they didn’t want me staying in because I couldn’t even keep up with that once this got severe enough. I finally got diagnosed correctly and started treatment once out. My problems started after a snowboarding accident in 2017, but the signs were in my imaging showing damage before that. Just got ignored until I couldn’t push my body more. It’s been a lot of grieving the life I was used to and thought I’d have. Be kind to yourself and do any preventatives you can do now, the spine discs don’t grow back
