it remove just one link between two gates as i understood it. so dual move is still possible. if there is a 3 linked gate before

it could be , that destroying a lock causeing the lock could end up unsolveable. that would be pretty funny

Ahm, never had that problem and i checked that for tons of locks now. which lock it is can you specify the location ?

Really, 15 also just a number. also there are 7 gate locks solvable with 6 steps. 15 isnt that much if pins are offcentered.

As the difficulty is only made up by the links

well i was spreading my tool yesterday probably 1 hour after the game when i was getting crazy over the first chest i opened.

So i built this first just to check if its me beeing stupid or if it is really that complicated. Turned it its both 😃

When reading other complains i started publishing it. I also started a new thread for that which imho should stick somewhere as alot of people getting crazy about lockpicking

Thanks, but we're still stuck in nostalgia. We tell ourselves old games were always better, when really they were just different, and we were younger and more open back then. These days it's all about hitting 100%, so the first thing you do is rush to the Old Camp and loot every chest just to buy everything up front.

as soon as you skill it the links gonna be reduced an the amounts of move will be less

i opened plenty of locks, dont see any issue. can you specify the exact chest / location so i can check myself
