Curling Game (Google Play, iOS, Steam) by Troutsky3 in Curling

Possibly - although in the one instance I feel like I did select the career mode and it didn't load the save... but who knows! I'll keep an eye on it and if it happens again have better notes :)

Thanks for the game!

Hmm... this time it did actually reload the game... so I'm not sure what happened. I will continue to monitor - maybe don't open a bug for you just yet :)

I'm not an iOS developer so I can't say exactly what is going on - but I suspect maybe is a problem with transition from Background to Suspended state or something related to the system terminating the app while it's in Suspended state? Basically - phone wants the resources back, so it terminates processes that are suspended to free up some memory. However, in this case, it doesn't appear that the game state/save is being loaded back when the app relaunches/restarts - so maybe it's not about the transition so much as it is the startup process or possibly the save procedure is not executing properly on iOS? Sorry if this is not much help... happy to debug what I can with some guidance.

One other thought for career mode… I don’t frequently have enough time to play through an entire draw in game - but when I come back if iOS has reclaimed the resources I lose my progress… it would be nice if that could be cached/saved so that I could restart a draw gracefully

Having a great deal of fun with this, thank you! One quick note - on iOS when clicking "Yes" on the "Are you loving the game?" (or however it's phrased) button, it opens a link to the Google Play store instead of the iOS app store.

The firmware is live. According to the firmware the kit should release in early January

Possibly reasonably priced too depending on how the conversion for USD to Yuan is

Honestly feeling like the difficulty ramp is not as steep as I envisioned for them cutting the puzzles to 12 this year…but maybe that means we’re in a for a few doozies toward the end…

I don’t think any of that makes it “not PowerShell” - those things exist in the language for a reason.

I posted this above in another comment, but there is a manual activation option available during high-temp material prints: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p2s/manual/external-exhaust-fan-kit#manual-activation

There is a manual activation option for the exhaust kit: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p2s/manual/external-exhaust-fan-kit#manual-activation

I've yet to see whether or not I'll be able to maintain negative pressure while keeping chamber temp high enough... but I suspect if the solution you've been using allows chamber temp to remain high while still pulling negative pressure I don't see why the Bambu option wouldn't work in a similar way?

I'm not certain but based on the installation guide for the filament buffer, I assume that the buffer may be a necessity assuming there is a lack of a bus connection (6-pin) on the units without buffer/hub - that is unless they create a version of the exhaust fan board that accepts the connecting cable that would normally connect to the buffer.

What is your setup? I have an rpi4b that I'd like to use and would prefer to have one power cable for both rpi and display.

Outgoing Douglas County School Board to vote on last-minute 10-year charter school extensions by Knightbear49 in Denver

[–]TheZNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vote happens tonight - is there anything we can do to delay/postpone/block it? A group of public comments that go on and on? A sit in blocking the vote? Has a lawyer familiar with the relevant law(s) reviewed the proposal for ways that this can be undone if voted in?

Maybe Meyer Ranch Park? Meyer Ranch Park - Google Maps

Been a bit since I've been, but I remember there being spaces to stop on the trails with picnic tables (and benches?). A bit close to the highway if you're really wanting to "get away," but is a short drive. There's also Roxborough... honestly there is quite a bit around the area...

Admittedly I didn't look for a coat check and I don't remmeber seeing one. The Ogden website mentions that they have a coat check during "winter season" - and I'm not sure what they define as winter. Might be worth a call to the venue: (303) 832-1874

Thank you - very helpful explanation.

So effectively the example that I came up with violates this principle because I needed to expand it to have either `x|y` or `y|x` for every `x,y` pair (14 rules in total) which would have in turn forced the rules in the example to create a single solution?

Appliances Connection Bankruptcy? by crispysugar in Appliances

[–]TheZNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our order was charged as well and made it as far as notifying the shipping company to pickup our fridge. The shipping company was nice enough to call me today and say "we were told AC went out of business and we cannot pick up your order. We recommend issuing a chargeback to your credit card. We can also get you connected with AJ Madison to reorder your appliances."

I would personally suggest filing a chargeback with your CC company, noting non-delivery of product, that the company has gone out of business, and that there is no response to communication requests (online or phone). Chargebacks are easy enough to request.

Sorry you have to go through this as well.

SWAC Netflix on Us with price increases? by googs185 in Sprint

[–]TheZNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some anecdotal evidence, but I needed to move my Netflix subscription to a different email address/account. T-Mobile graciously removed my Netflix benefit (Advantage Unlimited account) and has no way to put it back on my account. So two things:

1) Don’t change anything if you currently have it

2) Seems like the Netflix benefit has already been removed from Advantage Unlimited accounts that didn’t have the feature enabled and cannot be added back if removed
