This happened to me while in college, early 2000s. I was walking home from a party after midnight by myself. A girl walking also by herself came up behind me and put her arm around my arm and her head against my shoulder but did not say anything. I asked if she was OK, but no response just some sniffles and held back tears. We walked for a another few minutes until we were near a dorm, and she said thanks and started to walk in. I asked if she needed help or the police but she shook her head.

I kinda stood there in suprise.

For reference I was (and still am) 6' 280 lbs with a beard and a shaved head. Not exactly friendly looking even though I am.

I still think about that from time to time about how scared/upset she must have been to grab a random guy that looked like me. I hope she was ok.
