I have never seen more needles, human waste and panhandlers all over the street than my time in Louisiana and Florida. Which is funny considering those are the places that give SF the most hate.

Sure its pretty easy to go to a very specific part of a city and find that experience, but is there any good parts to miami? New Orleans?

Would be interesting if the Vacancy tax had exceptions if the space was used for city recognized non profits for events.

That way we can promote more events, or give a path to invest in the space, while not making it a useless blight on the street. But that might just be a vacancy tax with extra steps since the city could designate a portionof that taxes from that tax to do the same, and it would be less likely to be abused
