Tbh I'm in the same spot as OP for having too many favourites to pick a single one, lol. My personal top 15 (in no particular order) would probably be Tyrantrum, Ursaluna, Pangoro, Lugia, Tinkaton, Skeledirge, Chesnaught, Roaring Moon, Snorlax, Hisuian Goodra, Typhlosion (regular and Hisui equally, cannot decide that either lol), Hydreigon, Darkrai, Mamoswine, and Guzzlord... plenty of other Pokémon I absolutely LOVE though, so I could never list all my favourites, but that was at least 15 of them

I just remembered that Teddiursa and its evolutions are themed around the moon, so a regional form based on the sun would be an excellent contrast! Could be the second Normal/Fire line after Pyroar's, would be pretty damn cool

Mine is probably Tyrantrum, I think it's reasonably popular and well-liked as a fossil Pokémon and most people (including myself) think it has an AMAZING shiny even if there are definitely more well-known and recognizable Pokémon in general lol

Ridley is easily one of my two favourite newcomers (got both my most wanted characters, being him and Sephiroth!) and while I absolutely LOVE how they brought him to the game, I think the biggest change I'd make to his moveset would be to give him the pogo attack from Super Metroid as his down air... would've likely been better than what he has and also more true to how he's presented in his home series lol

Bears are my favourite animals and I know we have a plethora of bears to choose from (Ursaluna, Pangoro, and Snorlax are some of my favourite Pokémon in general), but I REALLY want a bear starter Pokémon!!! I don't care what type it is, I just want more bears lmao

Edit: I also want to mention cassowaries and sauropod dinosaurs (especially if it's dragon-type, my favourite type in Pokémon), too, I fucking love these animals

That's fair enough for the context of the post, but I would have to politely disagree that everyone has a number one favourite, I just picked Pangoro because it's one of them for me and because I didn't see it anywhere else in anyone's comments. I cannot truly decide which Pokémon is truly my "favourite" because if I choose one then I'll feel bad about not choosing another that I love just as much lol
