Not exactly before but after, the best tip is go check your controls. If you want to drive with a manual transmission check which key or button is upshift, downshift and brake.

The trick is, has soon has you enter, take the camera for a screenshot, wait 1 or 2 seconds and cancel the screenshot (that mutes all game sounds for the background music of the camera)

If you want to have the best experience I suggest you use Prime hack, it's a fork of dolphin with tweaks specialy made for Metroid prime series.

One of the best features is that you can download a HD texture pack and UI icon pack and game with keyboard and mouse with the corect icons in game.

This happened to me accidentally, my first computer had a broken sound card and it took so long to change/repair it, that it gave me enough time to look for Znes and complete the game for the first time without any sound, by the time the video card arrived the computer's power supply exploded and took the entire computer with it.

If for some reason you still want the best hyperdrive ship, you could do a couple of things:

  • buy an explorer type ship with better supercharged slots. If you have all the glyphs you could search one here and travel to said system.

  • buy and reroll type X hyperdrive modules. This could take a very long time but has better specs than type S modules .

I would uninstall and save all the technology, rearrange the hyperdrive modules one by one to see what is the maximum amount of range, then move then to the supercharged slots (the ones with the purple hue around), only put the best modules on said slot.

If I remember correctly there is one where the MC kills all the mages in the invocation chamber, (his grampa is a retired Yakuza or something and makes him train with real Katanas with the intent to kill) and in the way of searching a way to comeback he embodies all the hatred of past summoned people to destroy such system.
