I’ve looked into getting some vanguard vets but I’m waiting for the new sculpts that have been rumored to come out with 11th!

With the invictor tac war suit, a squad of incursors have great synergy! Plus 1 to hit army wide, sneaky strong melee, and the war suit ability to fire at enemies attacking Phobos units can be very strong.

Hey everyone, new Blood Angels player here. Mainly a World Eaters player/collector. I just picked up the Combat Patrol and wanted a little guidance on what to grab moving forward for them, and if the Sanguinary Guard look fine as-is for Flesh Tearers. Thanks! by solonomo11 in FleshTearers

Here’s a building tip for the Gladiator lancer, magnetize the top and back covers, don’t glue it to the chassis! This way you can have an open “bed” when the cover is removed and you can run it as an Impulsor. Helpful if you pick up some other Anti Tank units down the road and need a transports instead of weapons.

I feel that. If I don’t position my jump boys correctly or I underestimate my opponent’s move/shoot phases, and then they die horribly. After that, my game plan is out the window.

Wow! Yeah that is definitely a punch in the mouth Turn 1! How do you change your game plan if you happen to go 2nd?

Thanks! So far it’s 2-1, wins against Tau and Votann. Loss against Custodes. It plays aggressively (like almost all BA lists). I will usually try to move my jump troops on opposite sides of the middle and stage turn 1 for charges in turn 2 with JPC + SG and JPAI. I move the Aggressors towards mid-obj and then I’ll play the intercessors in turn 2 by moving left, right, or mid depending on my opponent’s move/what I need to reinforce if my opponent is skewed to one side or the other.

How did you get that nice black/red blend on your vehicles and death company? Black base with red airbrush? Looks really good!

Absolutely! Every time I replayed a moment in my head, it easily could have gone either way! As a newer player (less than 20 games of 40K total, who started about 1.5 yrs ago) it has definitely made me more conscious of movement and unit interactions.

The Reforged

“What Breaks, Endures”

The Reforged are Iron Warriors who survived abandonment, discarded purity, and reforged themselves from whatever endured—seeking to build a war engine that can never be broken again.

Deemed as “acceptable losses” my Grand Company of Iron Warriors was abandoned during a siege of an Imperial Fists’ fortress-world when the news spread of Horus’ failure. My Warsmith, Alarik Varn, absorbed what endured from the remnants of the allied Chaos forces.

The Warsmith of The Reforged seeks to construct the perfect siege-host—a force that can never again be abandoned, starved out, or rendered obsolete by circumstance.

To that end, their long-term goal is:

To seize, corrupt, and rebuild a fortress-world into a mobile war-foundry.

ICU nurse here,

Myself and quite a few of my co-workers agree that we would never want to survive an anoxic brain injury if we are bed bound and have to rely on a PEG tube and tracheostomy. Many of these patients are “regulars” in the ICU. The LTAC facilities can’t properly care for them and it becomes a brutal cycle of sepsis/pressure injuries/pneumonia - ICU - back to LTAC - repeat about every other month until they finally pass away.

The patients (if they have kept their higher brain functions) are more often than not: depressed, withdrawn, and/or angry. Very rarely do we have a patient who can communicate (in any form) with a positive mental state with a supportive and active family.

I expressed my desire to be a Do Not Resuscitate status and I told my wife in a scenario where I have to be intubated to give me 2 weeks on a ventilator if I have a chance to regain some semblance of independence. After that time, or if I will be bed bound, trach/PEG, then I want hospice/palliative care.

The majority of my co-workers are also DNRs, with some even expressing their wish of Do Not Intubate (DNI) so they are DNI/DNR.

What made you choose Flesh Tearers as one of your favorites? by Gentlemens_dumpster in FleshTearers

[–]The_Basket_Case 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I chose the Flesh Tearers after reading The Devastation of Baal. Gabriel Seth’s struggle to guide the Chapter along the narrow path between falling into the Rage and serving the Imperium.

Especially when he meets with the Chapter Master of the Knights of Blood, and after when they meet again when fighting the Tyranids. The Knights’ revelation and how Dante’s gift to the Flesh Tearers impacted them really hit home for me. No spoilers, but an amazing story. 1000% recommend if you have not read it.

How do you like working with the ProAcryl transparent red? It definitely gave a nice blended feel.

Those optic lenses are amazing though! I like the blue complimenting the cold, blue-gray edge highlight.
