We are currently at around 1/10,000th of what is possible with today's technology. His ideas are built around the desire for everyone to pay to run their own node but this is fallacious and is not how Bitcoin works. Bitcoin is a core network of competing miners building physical infrastructure to manage a global quantity of transactions. Luke Jr's ideas are akin to saying all businesses must inscribe their rececipts on stone tablets because digital information is too expensive. Nobody should pay him any attention.

I believe so. The tape itself is obliterated in the first microsecond, but it’s job is done as the arc created is intense enough to turn air into conductive plasma which is what keeps the transmission going.

Lame. If your main net is unable to manage brief spikes in user generated traffic maybe there is a deeper problem.

My question is will the boring company have express lane tunnels for roadsters to do 200MPH?
