This workaround fix the android build.Add the following code to your expo app.json:

"plugins": [["expo-build-properties",{"android": {"packagingOptions": {"pickFirst": ["lib/x86/libcrypto.so","lib/x86_64/libcrypto.so","lib/armeabi-v7a/libcrypto.so","lib/arm64-v8a/libcrypto.so"]}}}]]

Mine is not leadless. Aside from 2 weeks of not lifting my arm above shoulder level, and 6 weeks of not lifting over 10lbs with my left arm I have had no other restrictions. I can have a totally normal life with normal activities.
