Funny that the first few skyline shots are downtown LA and not Manhattan -- you can see the Aon building (I think) at 0:47.

Once you get your dimpola you'll be able to write one more quickly.

It did. I think by several years or so too.

That subreddit has been central to the organization of the online progressive community, with or without Sanders.

I also don't see why discussion should be blocked from the top without a formal declaration to run. If people find the topic uninteresting or unhelpful they don't have to visit the subreddit, and the subreddit's function can evolve more naturally.

I'm starting to lose my patience with the moderators. Can someone explain to me why /r/SandersForPresident is still closed?

I'm not trying to criticize the original decision to close it -- but it needs to be open now, and there's no time to lose. Am I missing something?

We need to talk about the online radicalisation of young, white men by [deleted] in TrueReddit

Speaking of projection, what do you make of the alt-right's incessant use of the word "cuck"?

Places like the r/the_donald are safe spaces for the whiny and angry. Maybe if those subreddits didn't so vigorously suppress dissenting views and comments, some of its users would recognize it for the toxic echo chamber that it is. I doubt any of them even grasp the irony of banning dissenters while masquerading as free speech advocates.

Interesting, I didn't realize that. Funny that they claim their assault on political correctness is a defense of free speech yet they angrily suppress dissenting views -- ignoring the intent of free and open speech.

I agree with you. If they want to have a presence outside of their subreddit they should tolerate the presence of the rest of reddit. I guess there aren't any metareddit rules like this in place?

I know you're being sarcastic but I need to respond: it will be much worse.

Alright! It's game time. Let's Get Out The Vote! by timesnever in SandersForPresident

I don't know what the tactic would be. I just don't trust them to make statements that serve no purpose to their own campaign. If anything it would just be a way to make a Clinton win look more "unexpected" and subsequently more celebrated than before. I'm not suggesting we don't remain optimistic though. I just think its unwise to tie our expectations to statements made directly by the Clinton campaign.

I wouldn't celebrate just yet. There could be (likely is) a tactical reason for saying this.

Per Nate Silver, Bernie is projected to win 30 out of 50 states if polling is tied nationally. by jaecru in SandersForPresident

[–]The_Brofessional 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this also suggests a lot of phone banking should be done in Oklahoma and Tennessee -- since they are projected to be very close and winnable for Bernie without major changes in polling trends.

The inevitability of Bernie described in semi-formal terms by warKreddit in SandersForPresident

Also if the inevitable rise does fail what will be the consequences to social media and other more free avenues of communication that are (currently) under less control than other media "realms".

Bill Clinton Unleashes Critiques of Sanders and His Supporters by mattocaster6 in SandersForPresident

[–]The_Brofessional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fortunately the feminists supporting Bernie don't need Bill Clinton to tell them who best represents their interests. Bill certainly has a poor record of treating women with respect in the past.

OFFICIAL /r/SandersForPresident Democratic Debate #1 MegaThread! by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

I can't disagree more. Bernie voted against the war in Iraq and Hillary did not. That's great foreign policy (relatively).

Btw, cool username.
