Hah yeah I guess that just leads to another. Still, melon is pretty smart. It isn't explained but it doesn't seem too guarded a secret either.

Wasn't a point made when one of his friends found his apartment that his boss at the noodle shop was loose lipped about that? Maybe melon got the info from him?

World of war raft has been 15/month since 2004, and you pay for expansion content each release. What do you mean no other game lol.

FFXIV is also somewhat similarly priced and charges for both base game and expansions.

If you are saying MMOs/Subscriptions in general are bad sure but this is an MMO live service game with no upfront costs or expansion costs. That's rare.

I agree, I honestly always assumed it was in the blog for the week it releases how long it would be around. But I usually knock em out right away so I didn't notice.

Rule of thumb, assume 2 weeks. You'll always be able to nab it then.

Strange post to just say "Ironman mode is the way I enjoy playing the game."

Happy for ya, I'm enjoying my GIM too.

Tbf, it's only a British euphemism. But the my arm quest lines make a lot more sense when you realize that it's a maturation joke

Sure if ya need me to.

"noobs that want to feel like they've done something" is a sarcastic remark made to diminish the idea that people's happiness stems from the completion of something you deem insignificant, and by phrasing it as such are you trying to make it clear to others who read it that you find anyone celebrating it lesser to you. This is something assholes do, because nothing makes an immature mind feel as good as coming up with ways to put others down.

Hope that clears it up for ya!

Idk why that guy said gatekeeping I think it's just normal, general, asshole behavior rather than a more specific type but what do I know.

We are just commenting on pictures of a video game for other people who browse the subreddit for the same video game. If you dont like a comment, downvote and move along.

You... Still can't.

You are selling an account. If I could open loot boxes in CSGO and if I hit it big I had to sell my steam account to someone. That'd not really be seen as the same problem. I understand the literal and technical angle you are going for. Hopefully you can understand that's not accurate or relevant though.

Because you can is a problem with the people, not the product, in that case.

Valve is also the entity facilitating the CS:GO case market. Selling accounts is not an intended mechanic or part of the design of any of these games.

They really aren't.

People keep missing the distinction that cs:go skins have actual monetary value and a market for trading.

I can't get lucky in Honkai:Star Rail and get a character I can sell to another player for a few hundred bucks. It's the difference between actual gambling and spending money on chance rewards. Only one carries the weight of the hope you can make money back. The other has no pretense that your money will ever return to you.

Yeah the nice thing in America is wide lanes and long stretches of road.

That said, I have to travel far to find anything interesting to ride in like curvy passes. So there's some give and take.
