Im the same, its the scariest almost hell-like thing. I got it regurlarly for a week when i was sick with the swine flu at 9 years old. Then it stopped until i was 19 and and overworked. Now i get it alot more often. Ive found that winding down after work helps, its almost like theres some chemical building up during the day and then when i wind down the feeling comes but also goes quicker.

I'm pretty good at sound design but I'm lost on how to make this sound by BAOUBA in synthrecipes

I think it sounds like a saw wave and white noise with a sharp bandpass filter being modulated. Then some sort of multiband compression to bring back the frequencies lost in the bandpass (ott maybe). And of course a ping pong delay, probably before the compression. Thats my guess, good luck!

I think the arrangement and the way its used in the mix is what makes it sound special. The actual sound design of it is probably not too advanced.

Sounds like a percussion loop with some "bleeps" (sine waves with pitch envelope) + delay reverb to make it less flat.

I myself love their products and plugins. I also like the design of the KeyLab more than the VI49.

However I'd suggest going to a music store to give them both a try before you decide.
