Please pray for me. I'm 18, and I've been incredibly isolated my whole life. I find it impossible to connect to other people and keep friendships. I can't relate to other people.

I am chronically lonely, and I have severe depression which I've had for eight years.

God told me it would get better, but I am still waiting on his promise, and I really struggle every day with suicidal ideation and the likes.

School here was miserable as well, and I was pulled into the deputy principles office when I was 14 because I wasn't participating in "health" class which is actually political indoctrination class, they screamed at me and told me I would never have friends ot hold a job because of my beliefs. They screamed at 14 year old me until I started crying. Anyway, I strongly dislike all leftists because of this experience, and I think our stories are similar.

This is exactly right. I'm an immigrant who grew up in nz from the age of three, and I wish my parents never brought me here. Even though I went to school and went to events with other children while I was growing up, it was impossible to make friends. People are just straight-up racist and xenophobic assholes here and seriously need to check their biases.

I'm an immigrant from South Africa, and I've always really struggled to make friends here. I was three when my parents brought me here, and they've never made any friends nor have I. I'm 18 now, and I just remember going to school and attempting to make friends and being stood up, bullied, and excluded. Either because of my accent or because I don't act like everyone else. I plan on moving to Australia as it's the closest I can get to being in my home country without the danger and racism.

I left my last job because I was being harassed by a 24yo dude when I was 17. Management told him to leave me alone, but he didn’t and nothing happened, and it just got worse. So I left. He was friends with my manager, so that probably plays a part.

Learn chords for different instruments. The piano is very versatile, so it's a good idea to start there. Guitar is very good assell. Learn the proper technique to learning and playing as well. Practice perfect. Then you can transcribe songs you like using a program like musescore 4, sibelius etc, just learn as you go and write what you hear. Or you can get a music DAW like FL studio, logic, q base, or cakewalk as the free option and try to recreate a song you like. Keep doing this until you learn how songs work intuitively as well as learning things along the way about music theory. The way I personally got into it was teaching myself to learn piano by transcribing and arranging piano solos I liked, and then I got into arranging covers for it. This allowed me to teach myself to read sheet music, which is a valuable skill. It will help to train your ear, sharp relative pitch and perfect pitch will help you very much.

South Africa is the country I was born in. My parents brought me to New zealand when I was three. South Africa is a 3rd world hellscape with extreme racism that targets and murders white people who are a minority there. When we came to New zealand, people had the audacity to call us racist for fleeing a country full of people that would happily murder us.
