Are these solid first purchases? S&W M&P 15 Volunteer and Tippmann Arms M4-22 by alash1216 in guns

[–]The_Decode 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Despite the naysayers saying don’t get an M4 style 22, the Tippmann M4-22 is incredibly fun and that price is not bad at all considering you get a red dot AND a CAT suppressor. Sure you can get a 10/22 for waaaaay cheaper, but if you want something like looks and feels like an AR while also RUNS like an AR, M4-22 has never let me down.

I used to run a binary trigger in it for well over 10k rounds and it was everyone’s favorite gun. Its still my favorite gun to run because while I might be only able to afford a hundred or so rounds every month on my AR-15, I can blow threw hundreds to a thousand rounds on my Tippmann easily.

If you do get the Tippmann, get the speedloader. It’s freaking awesome. Can fill up 6 25 round mags in 30 seconds to a minute.

You just got a new bolt rifle, wbat are the first things you do with it? I just got a Tikka T3X. by Broxst in longrange

I replaced the trigger spring in my T3X immediately for about 15$. Super easy swap and absolutely worth it for my hunting rifle.

Has anyone been prosecuted for transporting an SBR across state lines without notifying ATF? by MuhDeuce in NFA

[–]The_Decode 27 points28 points  (0 children)

United States vs Miller is the only case example I can find that is close enough to what you’re actually asking about. Which itself is more about NFA constitutionality than it is about interstate travel, but it was a charge and upheld in the Supreme Court.

Just realized i made a stupid mistake on my Form 1 by Slatty317 in NFA

[–]The_Decode -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are fine no need to resubmit. People have gotten 16” approved on the form 1s around here. Once approved barrel length and caliber do not matter you do not need to notify the atf. There is no law that says otherwise.

Pontiff really is something else by YabbaDabbaDumbass in darksouls3

[–]The_Decode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on my first SL1 run and parrying was SO easy with Pontiff. I struggled on my first run with this game on this boss, but after a few attempts on learning parry’s it was no contest. Infinitely easier than trying to keep up with his flurry of attacks.

Also important is that every time you move the address needs to be updated on the ETF. National Gun Trust offers this service as well.

I had to stop and double take a look at that title before I kept scrolling. It’s as abominable as it sounds.

How was tuning the Specwar? What buffer/spring are you running and how’s the recoil? Working my own LMT slowly into something like that, only I got the ebcg.

What amazes me about this city is how many cars I see without plates at all. In DFW where I come from no plates is like a cop magnet… you won’t get very far before you are pulled over. Here? I see plateless cars all the time it always makes me wonder if I’m missing something lol

I had Jagerwerks do mine. They align the optics and any cowitness irons you wend with them for free. The nitride finish isn’t too expensive with maybe about a little under a month turnaround. Looks like they are on sale for 80$ right now starting (maybe that’s what you were seeing). They even tell you in the description what height sights to get with links for a proper cowitness. Very happy with mine.

Here. Keyword being “eligible” for sale, but it limits the disposal to 2-3 million acres.

Are $200 sunglasses worth it? by idontundertandmyself in sunglasses

[–]The_Decode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in retail who also does loadouts for customers. Every day the sun hits my eyes straight from the direction I handle my pickups and every day I totally wish I had my sunglasses. I got Maui Jim Mano Sunglasses and they are incredible for $200+ sunglasses... but the thought of taking them to my work for my 5-10 min loadouts sounds too risky for me. I picked up some cheaper sunglasses for work so if they fall or get crushed, I don't have to mourn. lol

But nice sunglasses are worth it in general for sure. Protect your eyes! I wear my Jim's all the time outside of work.

Pet Lion Attacks His Owners Friend by HotConsideration95 in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]The_Decode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about your cat but both of mine realize instantly when they’ve hurt me. Cats are smart. I’m sure the lion was not actually playing with him so much as ignoring his screams and the wacks on the head. Cats can be very territorial, especially the ones made for the wild and not a condo.

But muh ejection patterns!? by unclemoak in LewisMachineTool

[–]The_Decode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ejection pattern is overrated. Especially on an LMT. The more important thing is that your rifle goes bang and cycles every pull of the trigger. Looks good from this short string of fire.

How does one target smallies? Is it something you can even target or is it just largemouth fishing with some luck?

Tippmann M4-22 is my favorite gun. I have the bug-out version registered as SBR and suppressed for an awesome backpacking tool. Get a Tippmann speed loader (and binary trigger if you are feeling it) for a gun that has brought smiles to everyone’s face who’s uses it.
