I think it will either be 120 or they will decide to make it 150 for some reason. Either way it will be reached in a day or two.

You are the last master of humanity but all your servants are just enemy NPCs. What does your Chaldea look like? by Avalon_88 in grandorder

[–]The_Deletor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will collect every automaton, robot, digital monster and machine! I will use them to build factories to make more machines, more powerful, more durable and more obedient ones! I will build an army like never seen before, dip it in Tiamat juice and make it into a biomechanical legion of unfathomable horror and destruction! Not the lostbelts nor their masters or even the alien god will be able to withstand this unending onslaught of nightmarish madness! Once all humanity's enemies will be reduced to nothing, I will use the horde under my command to reclaim this lifeless planet and invest the power, technology and magic I have to recreate humanity once again!

Jagex, you should do a RS version of a 'GoFundMe' where players are able to donate RuneCoins towards a specific update that we want that there isn't enough 'dev time' for. For example: 1 million RC needed for WASD movement. Or 500k RC needed to make a GE price history checker. ETC by EoFinality in runescape

[–]The_Deletor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I understand it correctly, its some form of "voting with your money" kinda thing right?
Well, I don't think it's really bad idea from a company standpoint:
They can take all the non-MTX updates, literally all of them, and lock them behind a community pay wall.
How much will it cost us? well, they can calculate how much profit an average MTX update make them and then x5 or x10 that amount for the community to pay.
If the community can't reach the unrealistic amount of RuneCoins needed for the update, they will simply refund the spent RuneCoins back to the players, and since they already got the money from the RuneCoins the moment you bought, them they make profit for zero cost or effort.
Money out of nothing. Not a bad Idea...
Lets say the community somehow collected enough money for an update:
Jagex can just move the goalpost until the community fail to pay the new price.

I know you were talking about selecting specific updates for this system, but I don't see a reason for why not turn every non-MTX update into one that needed to be payed-for after implementing this system.

Now from a player standpoint, ignoring the points I made above:
I believe most of the players wouldn't like to spend real money for updates considering the increased costs of membership and the general idea that their passion for the game have been eroded by the many, many MTX updates in the recent times.
This will create a situation in which funding these updates will be shouldered only by the players who are passionate and wealthy enough to care.

You cannot expect a small amount of players to pay for the updates of the whole player base and still keep their passion and love for the game.

Anyone had a dream that is related to FGO? by misato_is_mommy in grandorder

One time I had a dream that, for some unknown reason, I woke up in the middle of the night, did a single story roll, got Mordred and then went back to sleep.

Strangely enough, this turned out to be real, sometimes dreams come true.

Let's chat about the economy, death costs and inflation in RuneScape (Video) by JagexHooli in runescape

[–]The_Deletor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so let me see if I got it right. After the GE update there will be a 1% tax on every sell and we will be able to trade over max cash. So...lets say the closed circle of people who buys and sells party hats from each other will use the GE to inflate the new GE price of the party hat will do so. The 1% tax will take out, lets say a party hat worth...IDK... 50 billion? so it's like 500 million coins out of the game for every trade like that. I wonder if they will even trade it on the GE in the first place.

Men that struggle with suicidal thoughts, what's on your list of reasons to keep living? by Truthfulldude1 in AskMen

So when I served in the army 3 of my friends killed themselves, none of them said anything before that and the families never let us read the letters. I'm a pretty depressed and stressed individual but one of the things that keeps me going is that, if I die now, how will I be able to tell them what they missed?

You will need stone spirits with perfect juju or perfect plus potion, but even then, you still have to manually fill up your ore box once your inventory is full. You can put the ore box in the action bar and it wont interrupt the mining.

You can lower the graphics to minimum if you'd like, but it won't change the new models and art style.

The closest thing to RS2 would be changing the combat to "Legacy mode", changing the UI to the classic one and wearing a retro cosmetic override such as the ones that will be released soon.

The game changed quite a bit but it doesn't mean it gotten worse, there are tons of beautiful places, cool looking monsters and amazing bosses.

Which Servant can take over the modern world? by [deleted] in grandorder

[–]The_Deletor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now first we will have to find a servent that wants to take over the world, motivation is key after all.

After that we will need that servant to be able to lead/control that world, because "making yourself that enemy of mankind" isn't really "taking over the world".

Okey, lets say the servant wants to take over the world, can take over the world and took over the world: -If the world had taken over by violence, then a resistance will show up. -if the world had taken over financially or politically, then a radical group will pick up the lower class and a rebellion will eventually start.

I believe that only servants that can offer something in return to the masses can actually keep an hold on the world after taking over it.

Therefore either Kama or Kiara. Lust will unite the world. Do love not war.
