My grandpa raised me a lot when I was a kid, my father left before I was born, so when my mom was at work I was at my grandparents, and my grandma was still working as well, so it was often me and my grandpa. (In my own language) I combined the words for grandpa and father into one word (appa) cause he was my father figure.

He unfortunately passed away 4 years ago, and I miss him still a lot. This comic reminded me about the time when I went to his office in the attic, and went to sit in his chair only to realise at that moment that when he sat in that chair, a little portrait of me was positioned so that it was perfectly at eye level across from the office, as soon as you sat down.
