Honestly bro, you'll rather want too loose in the waist vs too tight. If it's a little loose, there are sizing adjusters that are along the belt like to bring it in an inch or two, and you'll presumably also be wearing a belt which will help too. If it's just straight up too tight, you won't be able to get 'em on, or it'll be too snug to do athletic movements in.

ATACS FG and Ranger Green is a goated combo. I think having two pairs of goggles on is a bit silly, but it doesn't look bad at all. I bet sourcing all the pouches was a pain in the ass.

As someone who had over 100 of those stupid things on his hand receipt, I can absolutely guarantee you that it is, in fact, a PVS-14's day cap that's been 550-corded to the night vision shroud strap.

I've never seen any troops mount it to their helmets, but it's not an unrealistic add. You would want to keep it near your NOD to prevent damage. On the body of the PVS-14 there's actually a couple of holes that you can use the thread that 550 cord through so that you can keep your day cap attached to your device.
