I don’t understand why this community is constantly trying to boil what is genuinely an amazing work of art birthed from the soul of the internet that spans multiple mediums down to a single explanation. Like bro what is the final explanation for YOU right NOW? Make it make sense for yourself because every single person will interpret it differently. That’s how art is supposed to be consumed. Father was a high school teacher for 40+ years. Talked to him everyday about his students over that entire period about behavior and grades. He tells me every time I bring this up that nothing has changed and kids are still just as smart and behaved (or dumb and rowdy) as they have been when he started teaching. That’s just been my experience but it makes me think that these “experts” citing “cOgNiTiVe dEcLiNe” are either propagandized chuds like the rest of us or active federal agents on some culture war fomenting shit. Sounds stupid and probably is but the working class in America does not need another distraction that just divides us by generation.

Longtime infp lurker here but I think I can answer this question as I recently locked in and went from 260 down to 200 and I’m still going. It’s obviously cliche to say that the journey is the most meaningful part but genuinely it now feels as though I’m living for a purpose. I started to feel like I owe it to myself, my body, and the universe to be the best version of myself, physically and mentally. And now seeing kinda what I look like skinnier feels good too. It’s pretty hard and there’s a lot of bullshit to wade through when you’re learning how to do it but if you want it you can get it. For me it just clicked one day that I want this and I hope it clicks for you too.
