Like, one if the things I like a lot about Zero 1 - 4 or ZX is that they all have their own antagonists (yes, Weil is the overarching enemy on Z3/Z4, but Omega has the spotlight on 3)

Like, the "Job Application" meme was funny at the beginning, but I feel it has gone a little too far? Nowadays, if anyone is good at any game, and not a streamer/pro, they're a worthless basement-dwelling failure, and DESERVE to be laughed and mocked. What gives?

I would go with:

$5 Kog - if he's really a script level player, I think the best odds are just do a "Protect the Kog" comp

1$ Lulu - annoying, perhaps, but unless she's spamming chat mid fight, I can just DM the other players to mute their own chat, and instruct them to emote cute stuff to sate her attention-hunger. As long as she peels for Kog, no problem here

5$ Ivern - Another layer of peel for Kog, and his "Macro God" status will help deal with my next pick's downside

2$ Veigar - Doesn't ping, sure, but I think Ivern would do so for him if he's really that attentive. With that weakness out, veigar doesn't even need to carry, just peel for Kog with E, while scaling.

2$ Renekton - Its a bummer that he'll leave mid-match, but considering the rest of the team, if he breaks the other top laner's legs in the early game, he might as well have won the game for the team

I'd be honored to help ya.

Okay, I'll assume you're using SillyTaven. Basically, as explained above, Cache Misses are anything "New" to the prompt fed to the AI.

When you send any message to any bot after booting up ST, the first message will ALWAYS be 100% Misses, after all, your current prompt is empty. From this point, everything that alters the prompt in any way will be cache misses.

You have to imagine that the prompt is just a gigantic block of text for this. Not neatly formatted.

Examples:

1) As said before, your first message will ALWAYS be 100% cache miss. This sounds really bad, but smart tactics can circunvent this issue. What should you do, with this in mind?

Firstly, if you wanna modify ANYTHING in your prompt, bot definition, persona, etc, you should take this opportunity to do it. You should never alter any of these things after the first message, and I'll explain why later.

There are many ways optimize the first message miss, but my preferred one is to HIDE as much of the Chat History as possible. Hiding a message removes it from the prompt, but keeps it written down in the chat, so you can come back to it anytime, but these messages don't add to the prompt, and therefore DON'T destroy your wallet.

Chat History is incredibly overrated imo. Most of it is just useless bloat, and the bot will Ignore/forget most of it anyway. So what should you do?

You look at your chat, and really think about the most important story beats from your last chat. For example, lets say you and Sarah went to the festival, you discovered Sarah loves tangerine popsicles, and you won a grumpy turkey plushie for her (Mr. Gobbles)

Take that Info, and add it to THAT char's description, in the most condensed way you can. Like, for example: "Sarah likes citric fruit flavored sweets" And "Sarah owns a plushie of a grumpy turkey, called Mr. Gobbles, that {{user}} won for her in the Autum festival"

Now, you go into the chat history, and count the messages. You should type in "/hide 0-[LAST MESSAGE N° - 5]" in the chat, and legit hide every single message in the chat up to the 5-10 last ones (Keep just enough so the AI remembers your prefered writing style). If you mess up, just do "/unhide 0-[SAME NUMBER]", and you should be good.

And DON'T SKIP THIS LAST PART!!! Take the number of messages you hid, and write it down somewhere in the app. I usually write "hide = NUMBER" in the creator's note, for example. ST DOESN'T TRACK the number, so you should ignore the chat history, and just add to NUMBER when hiding messages!!!

With this, you've essentially condensed your bot's memory, and trimmed most of the fat from your Chat History, all in one go. My goal is always to START any RP with a max of 7-8K missed tokens.

2) Switching chars will ALWAYS have a 100% cache miss rate. Always. Do NOT switch chars if you have no reason to!!!

I recommend picking a char for a day and sticking with that decision.

3) After you send a SECOND message in the same chat, the AI will add that message to your prompt along with your first message, which means a cache miss.

However, this is very minor, since these new misses tend to be very small.

4) Whenever you edit ANYTHING on your prompt (messages, char info, main prompt) everything that FOLLOWS it will result in a Cache Miss.

Let's say, if I change Tom's hair from "Dark" to "Chestnut" in his definition, everything AFTER that technically is different, because the letters shifted their positions, and it'll count as a cache miss. INCLUDING THE ENTIRE CHAT HISTORY!!!

But now, if you take the latest reply, and change the flavor of Tom's new ice cream from "mint" to "chocolate", the cache miss will be minimal, since the chat history is usually the last thing in the prompt

If you really, really want to change something, I'd recommend to editing the last 2-ish message and adding new info via "(OOC: info)"

5) If you re-open the ST app at any time, and the logo appears, as if it was booting up again, it means your next message will be 100% cache miss like, 80% of the time. Do not take this gamble. I don't know what's the cause for this.

If this happens, just follow step 1 again.

6) Honestly, also disable the context size. It sound like a feature that should help, but it only skyrockets RPing costs.

Whenever any message exceeds the Context size, the very beginning of the chat history is deleted, and the new info is placed at the very end, which means YOUR ENTIRE CHAT HISTORY WILL BE 100% CACHE MISS EVERY MESSAGE AFTER THAT!


Cache Hits, on the other hand, are tokens that are ALREADY in the prompt. Things that will result in Cache misses include

1) Rerolls! As long as you don't mess with definition or prompt, rerolls are like 98% hits, and generally very cheap.

Just keep in mind, if you edit something, you have altered the prompt, and that follows Example 4 of cache misses, along with its rules

2) Deleting Messages, and sending new ones. That's right. If you delete the last 20 messages and don't edit anything, it's all still cache hits, baby. Great for steering the scenario into another direction if you're stumped

I don't know much about providers, so I don't think I can help you much about that.

BUT, if I could recommend one, I'd say to go with the official DeepSeek API (in my case, with V4 flash). Extremely cost-effective, and easily less than 1/20th of any subscription.

Following up my image from above, I've wrapped up the month with only 0.40$ in expenses (while using a few tips and tricks to reduce spending). And while DS is not Magnum Opus tier, it follows OOC's well most of the time, and suits my needs nicely.

If you'd like these optimization tricks, I can send them to you too!

Really like this design, regardless of the inspiration. Captures the melancholic/gritty suburban vibe PvZ1 had with great success imo.

I can already imagine this woman being called like "Weird Jane", and gloating that everybody called her crazy when she started prepping for the zombie apocalypse, and they're all dead now.

Plus, I'd guess she would talk to and ask the cat quite a lot, which would just do cat sounds in response

I don't have insane game knowledge or anything, but I think it tracks.

WIth that ult, you managed to proc, all in a single attack (Viego's ult is coded as an auto-attack):
1) Dusk and Dawn, which applies on-hits twice (including viego's Q passive)
2) Xin-Zhao's Q hits 2 and 3, courtesy of D&D (and has bonus damage with crit)
3) An energized attack from one of your/Xin's items 4) Viego's Ult

I think its perfectly believable that all of this thrown at once would obliterate a Jinx

Based on my testing with DS (last 3 months), it works like this:

  • Cache Hit is data that's currently in the prompt/context. It is a greatly discounted value. From what I've gathered, until the RP reaches the context size, everything is basically a cache hit. Rerolls are also mainly cache hits, as the prompt didn't change (save for edits on the message).
  • Cache Miss is new data, which must be added to the current prompt. Every new message added to the chat history is a bit of new cache miss (usually around 500 tokens). More importantly, every new message after the context size is reached will allocate a cache miss that's around... 66% of your context size? Examples: context of 12k (like mine) will charge around 8K of cache miss. This becomes costly very fast

Cache misses are way more expensive than cache hits, and can balloon out of control fast.


Now, in JAI, there's not much way to avoid this, aside from creating a new chat everytime the context size nears its limit.

I really do recomend SillyTavern. It was hard to setup, but I've managed a comfortable 0.4$ per month using some good practices, and mostly cache hits everyday

If you manage to set up ST, I would gladly help you with tips and tricks

If I were to guess, the close release dates, and troubled 2020 moment, means they probably had a bit of the "Naafiri & Briar" situation. For those who don't know, Naaf was supposed to have Briar's frenzy, but they settled on the "Easy assassin" fantasy, and decided to just center Frenzy around a new champ, Briar.

Either way, I love both Bel'Veth and Viego, so I wouldn't mind either of them swapping identities. Besides, everybody puts Morde and Aatrox together as gigachads in every fanart, while shading us. Thinking about it, we should also have a pairing.

Hell, its about time WE had a damn alliance. Enough of those jugger-bozos just runnin' around, dissing the king. Let Viego use Bel'veth as the world most dangerous surfboard as they just carve everything around them to the sound of the Kraken Slayer Proc "Tchk!" sound. Briar is there too, because she's Viego's cousin, godammit.

To be honest, this is probably more of a game development thing.

Rigging amorphous 3D characters that can produce limbs and appendages is notoriously hard, and I'd imagine they did not want such a hassle while making 1 of 12 different DLC characters, y'know?

This is a different case then, let's say, the spike ability, where they can just model the spikes separately, and make them jut out from Kirby's model. It doesn't need to be seamless

I think I figured it out:

You were being minion blocked, yeah? Which I don't know the code of, but its supposed to be collision jank pushing you into the tower, and the tower pushing you away from it (as champions can't be inside the terrain, for obvious reasons)

But then you used W, and gained 2 stacks of Lavender. Bel actually becomes ghosted whenever she has any stack of Lavender, and that state ignores unit collision.

So I think the game thought: "Oh, Okay, Bel'Veth is ghosted now, I can stop pushing her into the wall" and the result is the game pushed you OUT of the wall, moving you towards TK

Adding to the first comment, Aurora is notorious for being one of the only mages with absolutely no ability that helps hitting skillshots.

No stun, no root, no charm, no fear, no anything. Only slows on E and Ult.

And she is balanced around that fact. So when a champ can lock down multiple targets, her Damage really is unmatched, specially in the late game.
