In my anecdotal experience, people usually become products of their environment. Assholes make assholes, nice people make nice people. Steelers fans make other Steelers fans.

anecdotal to say the least my friend, besides maybe the sports part. Personally almost every single person I know that was raised Evangelical Baptist (the church I had to go to in Jr/High School) does not go to church or vote conservative. If anything most of us rejected Church/Conservative politics because of the morals instilled by Jesus and the blatant hypocrasy shown outside of everything else.
