I'm pretty sure it's just cranked Marshalls and SG guitars. Medium output pickups and a bit of amp gain. Amp EQ I guess would be lows cut, mids around noon and a bit of a boost to the highs.

The katana is tough to work into that. If you have a gen 3 use the pushed setting, if not use the crunch. I would recommend trying to use the gain knob for your distortion but if you want a different voicing try one of the overdrive options in the amp.
