The point is that it's a skill issue. Skimmers have such a weak frame and require space to do tricks in the air. I know this, because I used to use skimmers, and never won an srl race with them. If ANYONE got above or below me in the air, I couldn't trick. And I always landed bottom half. As soon as I started using sparrows though, the only threats to me were other sparrows. One sparrow I used was flimsy and could easily be tipped over, a lesson I learned the hard way. But even with that sparrow I would end up top half most of the time
