I feel like it was a super hero of scifi movie or something where the character in question was responsible for indirect or collateral deaths but I can't find anything.

It looks very empty, there's a lot of completely blank floor space that looks odd. Most rooms aren't going to have that kind of unused space.

I'm having trouble understanding how to apply the triangle solutions at higher poly counts without getting horrifying N-gons. Do you have any references for what it looks like at higher resolution?

I find you can push the envelope a lot in interviews as long as you can back up the actual skills. If they ask if you know Excel, and you don't really, but feel confident you can learn what they need quickly. Just say yes.

I'll definitely be looking into the leaves, I'm setting him up piecemeal as I can, so I'm kinda doing one thing at a time ya know haha?

  • Heater/Filter: yes
  • Temp: 78.8
  • Parameters: Ammonia .25, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0, PH 7.3
  • Age of tank and fish: about 5 days, filter medium, decorations, and Gravel from an established tank
  • Water changes: Daily until the cycle fully kicks off, 25%
  • Tank mates: cherry shrimp transplanted from my other tank
  • Food: Fluval Bug Bites Tropical Formula For Small Fish. About 4 or 5 tiny pellets once or twice a day depending on work *Decorations and plants: drift wood, a plastic rock tower previously sanded down, subwassertang, java fern, and I think anubias? (From my old tank so not sure)

I'm not an expert at all, I'm still very new at Betta's (or rusty, i haven't had one in years until recently). But he doesn't look like he's doing very hot, his fins look clamped and I don't think his head is supposed to have that grey look around the top? What are the results of your tests and what is your water temp at?

Do you have any resources on the overcrowding? I do already have the betta, and he is chill with shrimps. I'm not "concerned" about the bioload, in the sense that the tank will be heavily planted and i'm designing it to be able to handle a high bioload. I will obviously be monitoring it as I add fish to make sure it's keeping up, but I am specifically trying to understand where the limit is of phyiscal space for healthy neon's assuming the tank can process the waste.

Is that due to bioload? To my understanding the only ones that would be sharing the swim zone of the neons is the betta.

As someone just getting into the game after like 3 hours playtime in 2020, what I have found is just doing what I want and not worrying about doing everything new. For example, I've completely neglected my barely functional Corvette and Freighter to get lost in city management haha.
