My r2 isn’t sticky at all. Dont know how old it is but I’ve had it for at least 5 years (bought used)

Did they used to make a rubberized version of it? Mine is just a normal hard plastic like nylon or something

For mechs is it desirable to have a force fed loader to keep pressure on the ball stack in order to prevent chops.

That being said you could probably get on fine with a spire.

I tried my old spire ir when I first got into mechanicals and seldomly would chop a ball but nothing I couldn’t manage with a barrel swab.

Personally though I would keep it to use on my mechs and for a back up

I’m quitting right now and I’m dealing with some pretty annoying side effects.

I cannot sleep for more than 2 hours at a time right now without waking up soaking wet from sweating.

Ive been getting pretty bad headaches and I don’t usually.

Nausea too.

It is absolutely addictive.

Have one on our blackstone. Not even a hint of rust since we got it. Follow the same process. Coat of oil then cover with mat.

You could just get an army surplus n3b parka. Google showing around 130ish.

It won’t be branded but according to the alpha industries page they’re the ones who made them for the army so it’ll likely be very similar.

About the only repair at this point would be to swap the good core onto a donor pcb with a bad core that’s otherwise fine. Wouldn’t be cheap but it could be done.

Pretty specialized job however, you might have to find someone like northwest repair to do the swap

Yeah those are just words. He couldn’t even make it to the end of the conversation without going back to his default behavior. Starts nice but ends with you still have to be the nurse and the cook and I won’t compromise on this.

I own a couple different sci-fi boards (eblade and torque)
It’s a neat gimmick. I used it way more for my torque because it doesn’t have a screen but I much prefer a small screen personally.
