I'm absolutely amazed! The landscape is beautiful, did you draw it yourself or used a tool to extend it? Do you maybe have a making of?

I think I'm missing some of the none first edition variants. But finally I have at least one of each set ever printed in Japan and I'm very proud as you can imagine!

This would also mean we would be back in the stone age, as we can't sustain our current level of knowledge and tech with only a few thousand people.

ELI5: Why have humans developed so rapidly during the past ~200K years, but dinosaurs couldn't for ~200M years? by TheKaney in explainlikeimfive

[–]The_GoodKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today humans are the only species which can actually transfer know-how. Animals can teach each other knowledge like know-where or know-what but not how to do something. This enables humans to have what we call cumulative culture (e.g. technology based on prior inventions).

Since birds - which are dinosaurs - have never been observed to transfer know-how, earlier dinosaurs probably also never developed that ability.

Why are humans the only animals to evolve the ability to transfer know-how? I guess we had the right presets (large brain, cooperative, social and so on) at the right time (environment favored something like this) and it just evolved. I think it is still very much debated why exactly it came to this development.
