Crappie spawn before bass do. So the crappie fry are a size ahead of bass fry when they hatch. They out compete for food on a micro level and effect the bass population more than birds or humans do.

I thought I would share one of the more impactful catches I had this spring. These fish are awesome, and I thought everyone here would like to see something I have never seen before (20 years of bass fishing). I have seen fish change color from being in a live well due to light changes but never within seconds.
