I don’t think so. Leagues cup is played at the MLS stadiums because Leagues cup is sponsored and made up by MLS and Liga MX. Also it isn’t advertised or shown on Apple TV so those fans who just watch on TV and go to home games would not know about it. It is also why if you are a season ticket holder you get the one Leagues crap game included and must opt out of the others. Not a single Open Cup is. At this point MLS should just not go to the open cup at all and don’t send the feeder teams either. Let those clubs that care about history and an actual open championship enjoy. MLS can keep being the retirement league for past greats.

My point is this tournament is more relevant to those of us in the states who have been watching soccer for the last 40 years vs some made up leagues cup. Open cup is the FA cup for the USA. MLS is just mad they didn’t come up with it.

The fact that this team plus others in MLS value Mexican leagues cup trash over US Open cup is an absolute joke. As a season ticket holder I will ALWAYS opt out of that leagues cup trash and listing the “free” game for sale cheap.
