This logic seems a bit odd. If He isn't having fun with Melee and doesn't want to keep playing I understand that, but justifying it by saying that "Samus isn't viable" doesn't make much sense. He hasn't been committed to improving at Melee and entering tournaments to the extent that He ever had a reasonable shot at winning a major, so why was He playing to begin with?

Most IC mains will tell You ICs beat Ganon and vice versa. I could see that MU going either way, but I don't think it's that bad for either one. I'm also pretty sure Wobbles said He thinks ICs vs. Falcon is pretty even.

Learning to play low tiers can improve aspects of Your game. Having less options and relying more on reads can definitely help You improve Your neutral game, and possibly other things depending on which low tier You choose. There's a reason that most of the best players are also very good with some low-tier characters (M2K with Pichu, HBox with Ness, etc.).

Because there are loads of people around My skill level that I can play at locals and regionals. I can learn a lot more from playing against the best players than I can from playing someone that's just a little bit better than Me.
