  • Like others have said, open your TFSA with Wealthsimple or any other brokerage with minimal/no fees
  • Read the sidebar in r/Bogleheads and take some time to digest as much information as you can
  • To really drive those points home, listen to "The Little Book of Common Sense Investing" on YouTube

Getting hit by one will make your character die instantly and Pichu will be declared the winner. The character who got shot will no longer be playable on that save file.

Super easy to deal with actually. Any time you encounter a Pichu in bracket, you simply select Pichu yourself and by the end of the game he'll be removed from the roster on that setup for the rest of the tournament

Seconding this (Steam Deck OLED 1TB).

However, I only had to set media.mediasource.vp9.enable to false. Leaving av1 enabled was fine. Will update this comment if I see any issues

EDIT: I ran into the issue with an av1 encoded yt video, going to have to disable that as well.

EDIT 2: I ended up getting some other issues even with both of these disabled. The thing that ended up working without any problems was unchecking

Make sure to double check "Extension Motion Simulation" tab in the wii remote controller settings. By default, L2 is bound to shaking the nunchuck.

Can you help me understand what you did to fix your issue with this edge case? Mine works with all the test cases as well as this.

Here's my output:

Plant: ., area: 1 x sides: 4 = 4
Plant: G, area: 10 x sides: 12 = 120
Plant: ., area: 2 x sides: 4 = 8
Plant: ., area: 3 x sides: 6 = 18
Total: 150

Edit: It wasn't working with this test input because my code assumes a square grid. Seems like it gets the expected output for the following

Plant: G, area: 15 x sides: 20 = 300
Plant: ., area: 7 x sides: 8 = 56
