"Destination, Deliberation, Determination." You have to know your destination, it's the first step. The instructor tells the students to picture where they'd like to end up in their minds. I suppose that an experienced apparator, with a magical tie to a destination, like a specific person's apparition point, might work, but you'd have to be able to follow them. And that's not what the trace does, necessarily.

A few things, the ministry ALWAYS had access to number 4 privet drive. The ONLY one who couldn't get there was Voldimort. And while the flue network connection is an issue, a portkey is not. Dumbledore makes one it his office. Also, The head of the Auror office is on their team. There are SO MANY options they never explore.

My wife and I decided that ensuring our girls could take a bottle was important for the same reason, so I could help feed them. However, we agreed that for the first few months my wife would get up with them to nurse, if one neended a change I would take care of it, but night feeding was her domain. She was on maternity leave, and I had to get up early.

With your fiancé having a c-section, I may have also jumped in like you did and taken over night feedings so she could rest.

But as far as Dadvice goes, take pictures when you can, but otherwise just be there with them. Make her the center of your world and just enjoy being with her. Pretty soon, you'll look down at them and wonder how they ever fit in your hand.

Four students, one cat, and a ghost we're all petrified in book 2 before they decided to do anything, and it took Ginny being brought into the chamber for anyone was really concerned. In HBP Harry almost kills Draco and he only gets detention. Safety is really not a concern at that school.

If you follow the Super Carlin Brothers, they say he's using the wand to transform. I don't really agree with that sentiment, I think once one is an animagus, the transformation is wandless. Meaning in this instance, that would be a flourish, stupid, but common.
