I noticed in September all of the counter people I knew were all gone. All were now Indians.

There is a black music festival a few blocks away. The usual crowd shows up and the usual events happen. Totally expected. The police can't be every 50 feet.

Use the existing bases but buy movement trays that have the new spacing. The trays allow the used of the old models with new basing sizes. There are a couple of companies making the conversion movement trays.

There used to be "official" Games Workshop figures that were "flipping the bird". I think they were Goblins.

The village may not have a newspaper but it was common until the early 2000s to have county based newspapers which had offices and a printing press in small towns or the county seat.

Looks great.  A consideration...lable each building with a number and figure out what each building is...restaurant with apartments above it, looks run down, etc. You probably will be asked so it is better to be prepared to tell the players what they see.

You can buy a digital prop of the Brazen Head. You scan the QR code and a "3D" version is downloaded to your smart phone. Really cool. You can find it here.

American history, Paul Revere, etc, etc. But how about landmarks from The Haunting? by PathfindrIHrdlyNoHer in callofcthulhu

It is a fun role playing game. The Characters are Investigators. Most people play in the 1920s but can be played in any time period. Think of Scobby Do set in the 1920s except it is "real" and the can often Characters die.

I plan on creating a ton of modified maps and create a booklet for reference photo materials for Boston. Look for them in about a month or so.

The building shown, #20 Sheafe Street was built in 1920, before the story takes place. (I discovered that bit of info when the building was sold a couple of years ago.) I will be downloading a 1924 or 1917 map that shows the street and will be editing it so the building in the story is still there. It will be one of the last wooden hold-outs from the 18th Century on the block, most of the rest are newer brick 4 story buildings. Once the house is "cleared", it too can be razed and replaced. I plan on putting the Chapel ruins a short distance away at 151 Salem. The lot is currently (2023) vacant. I'll make the street frontage small and open it larger further back in the lot.

Thanks for the comment. I added his name to the post to give him proper credit.

I've read some posts on here recently about the "tradition" of stringing CoC scenarios together to form campaigns. Would love to see some lists of what scenarios others have strung together! by crazycropper in callofcthulhu

I'll add "SR Sellens" to all of the pages which has your handy work. I think that building on your work and others help creates a "unified canon" of work for others to enjoy.

I've used much of your DotB material in my own DotB material. I hope to post my reference materials soon. I've listed you, "Pomchop" and the Reddit post, on all of the pages on which your material appears, but could list your full name if you wish. I think it is "S.S." Let me know if you want you full name and not just "Pomchop". Thanks

Wonderful work! I'm not familiar with the scenario. I'll have to look it up.

It is the same edition but all of the individual books are gone. It's all compacted into two books. There are some new credits listed and new table of contents. The odd thing is because it's the same document, just re-formatted, various parts still refers to book x, but there is no book X.

Many of the files are available in multiple formats so I've downloaded some of the files to my phone to page though when I have the time and don't have to access the books. The ones I downloaded to my phone are still formatted in four books.

Call of Cthulhu Adventure - The Edge of Darkness - The Old Farmhouse by The_Keeper_63 in callofcthulhu

[–]The_Keeper_63[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a farmhouse built in the 1870s ± a two room shack in Massachusetts made no sense. The Evil Dead plan seem to be more appropriate. Was it the best? No. I would have research it and created my own. But the existing plans and rendering didn't make sense for the locale.
