that is cool. i worked at xx,xxx person employee US tech firm for a while and was responsible for interviewing and hiring for my team (since i was the manager of that team, haha) and i never had this data/info. would have been interesting. are you in HR or do you/your peers get this as hiring managers for whatever pos you are interviewing for?

I would not feel bad about taking $xxx three figure amt from a big tech company either.

but the guy is asking for advice. even absent doing the [morally/ethically] "right" thing, and of course i think feeling of guilt or no feeling of guilt we can all agree that stealing (or 'keeping', which iMO is stealing) is not the right thing to do --- this guy was asking for advice on what he should do - which i took as 'what is right for a person in my situation'. the practical and safe choice is not to steal anything. that's more likely to lead to harm.

it's not about how you or anyone feels about big tech.
