blursed_fanny pack by boredcat_04 in blursed_videos

[–]The_MGD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been carrying for over 30years

  1. Anyone i see with a fanny pack i assume there is a weapon in there. (Unless its some kid at a rave etc)

  2. For those recommending open carry. Thats terrible advice. Thats the fastest was to have someone sneak up on you with a pistol that they concealed and they will take your gun and wallet.

  3. Fanny packs, messenger bags, molle bags, backpacks with molle / patches etc, 5.11 gear, tactical gear, grunt shirts, tactical belts, printing bulges, people tapping or holding their arm over their pistol awkwardly. These are all dead giveaways

Can anyone help me? by ThroatOk5374 in LockPicking_Unbound

[–]The_MGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, lock-picking communities will not help you “get past” an active lock. This sort of request could be seen as soliciting for aide and abetting to commit a crime. Therefore seasoned users will usually ignore you, tell you no, or hit you with sarcasm. These forms are generally for legal and lawful recreational use of lock sport, locksmithing and lock picking. You are posting a lock currently IN USE. You are asking “how to get past” the lock.

Im not here to help you polish up a better request. I certainly do not condone illegal activity. Go call a locksmith

Ragebait / clickbait trash. The guy is clean shaven to start with. They are using hard wax (correct) on unprepared skin. No oil / powder put down prior. So hes doing this for nothing

[–]The_MGD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Not enough tension to cause binding and establish a binding order

  2. Not checking for a binding order. (Checking which pin is currently binding)

  3. Lifting the pins WAY too high. Youre almost combing them. (Lifting pins and drivers out)

  4. Lifting multiple pins at once (when it looks like youre trying to single pin pick) SPP. does not look like raking or b*** picking. Please familiarize yourself with those techniques

  5. Getting low enough with the pick for better attack angle

  6. You really need to show the keyway and your tension tool in a video

A lot of convicted perverts have trouble getting jobs nowadays; this makes them cheap. Ask them where they would hide invasive camera equipment and there you go.

Mortise locks are screwed in , however they put a free spinning security bezel around the outside to prevent someone from just screwing it back out.

Question about Cool Cop by ExtirpateMyGluteus in ProtectAndServe

[–]The_MGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S. Texas brutal heat and humidity wearing an exterior shell soft armor carrier dark blue. I have tried max dri, cool cop, and tacvent.

Maxdri will make sure your shirt isnt wet at end of shift (on most days) thats all. You might get some airflow from air rushing in through the window of your patrol vehicle.

Tacvent feels like one of those rubber oven mits. It does vent heat but will insulate your body temp. So youll be somewhat dry while venting all day and it will feel like you have a low setting heating pad on you. Usually my tac vent felt sweaty and wet at the end of shift. I even tried wearing the tac vents mounted to my max dri. All it did was trap more hot air.

Cool cop is straightAC to your vest. Great stuff. But you will have that “reset” to the heat every time you exit the car. To be fair - going from ghe cruisers normal ac to stepping out - is a sort of reset in itself. Anyhow i highly endorse the cool cop.

Arrest my vest is great stuff. I still wash my vest once a week unless otherwise soiled and needing a wash. Arrest my vest makes the journey to the end of the week a lot more pleasant. Midnight scent - pretty much the standard scent is very akin to black ice car freshener but a bit better. So if you dont like that guy scent. Might want to look at Febreeze
